LaserWeeder G2 Zaps 450,000 Weeds an Hour, Replacing 100 Farmhands

Carbon Robotics just released the LaserWeeder G2 600, a field robot that wipes out about 450,000 weeds an hour. That’s more than a hundred people working by hand. The system hits weeds with sub-millimeter accuracy and leaves the crops alone.
Farmers are already using LaserWeeders in 100 crops across 12 countries. They report lower costs for weed control and better yields.
This generation comes in multiple sizes. That means it isn’t only for giant farms with massive budgets. Mid-sized growers can now get in too.
It sounds like science fiction. But for many farmers, a robot with lasers is now just another piece of equipment.
